Becoming an Affiliate

Becoming a member of the national NCOHF Affiliate network gives your nonprofit oral health program access to funding, donated dental products, educational materials and the sharing of best practices as we work together to eliminate pediatric dental disease. Affiliates receive resources that enhance their ability to deliver critical oral health services to at-risk children.

NCOHF Affiliate Eligibility

NCOHF Affiliate Eligibility is based on four basic tenets:

• The Affiliate must demonstrate proof of not-for-profit status.
• The Affiliate must provide oral health related education at each patient’s encounter.
• The Affiliate must provide preventive oriented services (i.e. fluoride varnishes, sealants, xylitol, antimicrobials, etc.)
• The Affiliate must provide restorative and emergency dental treatment or have a referral source that will accept patients to receive said services.

NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy – The Guide

National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy has created The Guide, a comprehensive and adaptable roadmap that provides the basic tools for engaging communities interested in addressing children’s oral health issues locally. This book walks stakeholders through the process of enhancing and expanding or creating children’s oral health programs and services that are consistent with NCOHF’s philosophy and principles. All NCOHF Affiliates receive a copy of The Guide.
