Kids’ Community Dental Clinic Named 2017 Dental Clinic of the Year 2

We are proud to honor Kids’ Community Dental Clinic (KCDC) as our 2017 Dental Clinic of the Year. Located in Burbank, California, KCDC is dedicated to improving children’s oral health through quality dental care and preventive education for low-income families in Southern California.

NCOHF has collaborated with KCDC since 2012 through its Dental Clinic Resource Program, which supports more than 80 nonprofit clinics with donated products, educational materials, community programming, and financial grants.

Dale Gorman, Executive Director of KCDC, and Ana Gomez, RDA, Programs Administrator, accepted the award at our 2017 Celebration of Smiles held at the Midwinter Meeting of the Chicago Dental Society in February. At the event, KCDC also received a $10,000 grant from NCOHF to further expand its vital programs for children.

Thank you, Dale and the entire KCDC team, for the significant contributions you have made to the oral health of children in your community!

Dental clinics are growing day by day, and more people are choosing the dental profession. May be it is becoming a trend or may be the demand is greater than before, whatever. As a professional dentist I know it is really difficult to achieve clinic of the year honor. This is why; I would like to congratulate the kid’s dental community clinic.
