Mr. Even has worked for Sybron Dental Specialties for 25 years and currently serves as President of this worldwide leader in consumable dental products.  He is a member of several oral health associations, including the Orthodontic Manufacturing Association, and the American Association of Endodontists Foundation.  He served as the President of the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation and the Communications Chairman of the Young Presidents Organization.  Mr. Even serves on the Board of Directors of numerous companies, including:  Allesee Orthodonic Appliances, Inc., Maquiladora ACI-MEX, S.s.de C.V., Ormco BV, Ormco Corporations, Ormco de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., Ormco Europe BV, Socodent SA, Ormodent Limited, and several more.

He is currently on the board of directors of the Dental Trade Alliance, the trade association of dental manufacturers, distributors and laboratories.

Mr. Engels retired from 3M Company in 2007 after 39 years of employment and serving in a variety of leadership positions.  He held executive level leadership positions within 3M since 1992, including serving as Vice President and General Manager from 2001 to 2007 of 3M ESPE Dental Products, a Division within 3M's Health Care Business.  3M is a U.S. publicly held, multinational organization with operations in more than 60 countries.  Mr. Engels served on the Board of Directors of the Dental Trade Alliance and on the Advisory Board Committee of the Dental Ethics Alliance Initiative.  He served as a Board and Executive Committee Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico during his assignment as Managing Director, 3M Mexico.  He has also served as a Heart Care Program Ambassador for the University of Michigan and Board Director of Medical Alley, an organization founded to support Minnesota's health care industry.

Dr. Sheets maintains a full-time private practice in Newport Beach, California for esthetic rehabilitative dentistry and is Co-Executive Director of the Newport Coast Oral Facial Institute. She is an international educator, clinician, author and lecturer, and received the 2002 Gordon Christensen Award for Excellence in Lecturing and the 2004 USC School of Dentistry Alumnus of the Year Award. She is a past president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Southern California, and Founder of The Children's Dental Center. With the University of California Irvine (UCI) School of Engineering, she is leading research on energy dissipation in teeth and implants.

Dr. Gordon Christensen is the Founder and leader of two international continuing education organizations; Practical Clinical Courses (PCC) in Utah and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry (SCD) in Arizona. Dr. Christensen has presented over 45,000 hours of continuing education throughout the world and has published many articles and books. Together with his wife, Dr. Rella Christensen, he co-founded the non-profit CRA Foundation (CRA), which has conducted research in all areas of dentistry since 1976 and publishes the findings to the profession in the well-known CRA Newsletter. Early in his career, he helped initiate the University of Kentucky and University of Colorado Dental Schools and taught at the University of Washington. Dr. Christensen’s degrees include: DDS, University of Southern California; MSD, University of Washington; PhD, University of Denver; an Honorary Doctor of Science from Utah State University, and an honorary Doctor of Dental Education and Research from Utah Valley State University. Dr. Christensen is a Diplomate and/or Fellow in numerous professional organizations and is a practicing prosthodontist in Provo, Utah.

Dr. Ronald Goldstein is currently Clinical Professor of Oral Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, an Adjunct Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center and formerly a Special Lecturer in Esthetic Dentistry at Emory University School of Dentistry. Dr. Goldstein has presented continuing education courses at more than twenty universities and lectured at over 400 dental meetings in the United States, Canada, Australia, South America, Asia, and throughout Europe. He has authored or co-authored numerous professional books including his best-selling consumer book, Change Your Smile, now in its third edition. In 1992, he received awards from both the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry He is co-founder and past-president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a past-president of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and the fifth District Dental Society in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Goldstein is a Fellow or Distinguished Practitioner in numerous professional organizations.

Dr. Greenberg is Clinical Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Temple University School of Dentistry, and has contributed over 20 original articles to the dental literature.  Dr. Greenberg served as Team Dentist to the Philadelphia 76ers, and has maintained a private practice in suburban Philadelphia for over 25 years.   Dr. Greenberg has consulted for major dental product manufacturers and invented the Facial Plane Relator.  Dr. Greenberg is a Fellow in the select American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and in the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and holds membership in many other professional organizations.  He is former Executive Director and President of the Charles L. Pincus Foundation, founding President of “Kids Smiles”, and has served many non-profit volunteer activities and Boards.

  Stephen J. Moss, DDS

Dr. Moss is a past president of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  As an NIDR research fellow, following graduation from NYU College of Dentistry, he obtained a Master of Science degree at NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science.  His major area of study is preventive dentistry.  As Chairman and Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, he has published books, monographs, and over 200 pediatric and orthodontic scientific papers, many dealing with public health and infant dental education.  In recognition of his abilities at the New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Moss was appointed Division Head of Growth and Developmental Sciences.  In that position, he was given the responsibility of coordinating prevention, pediatric and orthodontic education.  Dr. Moss represents the Federation Dentaire Internationale (FDI) as its Delegate to the United Nations.  His present activities include developing international education programs designed to promote oral health.
 

Gilia (Jill) Rethman, RDH, BA

Jill Rethman has over 30 years experience in the dental hygiene profession.  A graduate of Ohio State University, she was named the OSU Outstanding Dental Hygiene Alumnus for 2004. Ms. Rethman has presented programs throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan, and her articles have been featured in several dental and dental hygiene publications.  From 1995-2002, Ms. Rethman was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Practical Hygiene.  She is currently the Editorial Director for Dimensions of Dental Hygiene.  She has served on the American Academy of Periodontology's Committee on Dental Hygiene Education and is a visiting Clinical Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, and Department of Dental Hygiene.  In 2005, she received a Special Citation from the American Academy of Periodontology for her efforts in helping to develop its annual dental hygiene symposium.  She is the only non-AAP member and the only dental hygienist to receive this award.

Mr. Teti is the Chief Executive Officer of Den-Mat Holdings, LLC.  In addition, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Isolagen Incorporated.  Formerly, Mr. Teti served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Inamed Corporation. He has over 30 years of management, operations and marketing experience in the pharmaceuticals & medical device industry, including serving as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company, multiple leadership roles of DuPont's global pharmaceuticals business units, and was President and Director of Yamanouchi USA, Inc., a division of Yamanouchi Pharmaceuticals Co.  Mr. Teti holds an M.B.A. in Health Care Administration and a B.A. in Economics from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

 

John N. Williams, DMD, MBA

Dr. John N. Williams was appointed the sixth Dean of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in May 2005. Before joining the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, Williams was Dean of the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry from January 1999 to May 2005. He served for the previous seven years as Associate Dean of Educational Programs at Louisville and three years in a concurrent position as Assistant University Provost. Williams received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Transylvania University (Lexington, Ky.) and his doctor of dental medicine and MBA from Louisville. He began his career in private general dental practice but served part-time public health positions. He joined the Louisville faculty in 1986 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Dentistry. Prior to enrolling in dental school, Williams served as a legislative analyst for the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission for two years. He maintains academic interests in health policy, dental workforce issues and instructional technologies and is active in a number of national and international organizations.

She has also provided management consulting services for The Children’s Dental Center of Greater Los Angeles.  Prior to working in the field of dentistry, Ms. Ingber served as President of the Cancer Treatment Research Foundation; Senior Vice President for Strategic Development for Cancer Treatment Centers of America; Executive Vice President for the National Health Museum in Washington DC; primary consultant in the development and implementation of the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Network and several pilot Prostate Cancer initiatives; founding General Manager of the National Marrow Donor Program; Director of the Department of Defense National Marrow Donor Center; and  assisted several other non-profit and for-profit organizations in the development of health and education programs and products.
