Working
closely with these model agencies, National Children's Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) is developing a program to inform,
advise, and educate leaders and professionals from other
existing or forming 501(c)(3) organizations with similar
missions or that express interest in providing a more
prevention/educational approach to pediatric care. Institute
staff will help conduct asset-based needs assessments
of communities, and assist in developing business plans
that are tailored to local assets and needs, as well as
the implementation of those plans.
The
Institute will provide a platform to share best oral health
practices in treatment, prevention and education of economically
disadvantaged children. It will also provide the home
for all evaluation and outcome assessments from participating
Foundation Affiliates.
