The Esther Wilkins Education Program provides dental hygiene professionals (RDH) and students with educational tools and lessons for their outreach activities, supporting their role as oral health champions, leaders and educators within their communities. Members raise awareness and improve oral health literacy through community outreach activities in their local communities and mission trips around the world.
There are two ways to get involved!
The ToothFairy 101® Community Education Kit is a comprehensive tool for improving oral health literacy through outreach activities. Kit content covers nutrition, germ transmission and prevention, mouth safety, tobacco and infant care, as well as basic preventive strategies appropriate for prenatal through young adult learning levels. The Kit contains a double-sided magnetic display board, magnets, laminates, and giant toothbrush. Kit users also receive access to an online portal that includes a 275-page bilingual curriculum and an array of other educational resources and activities.
2. Donate to Help Spread the Prevention Message
Your contributions to the Esther Wilkins Education Program provide mini grants to dental hygiene students conducting educational outreach programs for underserved children across the country. Your gift of $50 will support dental hygiene students using the ToothFairy 101 Kit to save young smiles in their community.
