Southern California Oral Health Zone


OC OHZ SUATThe Southern California Oral Health Zone is a community-engaged approach to bringing awareness of the importance of oral health and building healthier communities. It combines resources and programs from America’s ToothFairy with local programs, knowledge, expertise, and manpower to address the significant oral health needs of youth in southern California. By utilizing our community programs, ToothFairy 101® Community Education Kit and other resources, the Southern California Oral Health Zone works to improve oral health literacy and knowledge, improve access to care and unite dental and medical professionals in the fight against pediatric dental disease.

Southern California Oral Health Zone Goals

  • Expand access to oral health education
  • Elevate oral health literacy among pregnant mothers, children, teens, and their caregivers
  • Engage youth in oral health advocacy and community service
  • Increase access to care for at-risk populations
