Students United with America's ToothFairy
Dental, nursing, pre-dental and other health program student volunteers join together as Students United with America's ToothFairy (SUAT) chapters to provide preventive services and oral health education to children in their communities. SUAT chapters conduct health fairs, toothbrushing programs, screenings, and fundraising events to enhance local service delivery and implement educational and prevention-oriented programs.
Whether you’re applying to grad school or landing your dream job, extracurricular activities such as participating in clubs, volunteering and community service have become extremely important. Join your peers and start a community based, oral health program on your campus and drive change in your community as oral health champions, mentors and role models to younger children!
Each SUAT chapter receives:
- Our signature ToothFairy 101® Community Education Kit, which includes engaging, science-based bi-lingual educational materials, downloadable display board kits, and activity handouts and tips, making it possible for you to teach children, parents, and families and promote behavior change.
- An opportunity for an initial mini-grant to establish your SUAT chapter
- The opportunity to apply for annual grant funding for your chapter activities
- And much more!
Each chapter agrees to submit annual activity reports including photos and testimonials when applicable.
Your work supports America's ToothFairy’s vision to create a world where no child suffers from preventable tooth decay. Contact Robin Vann at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about becoming a Students United with America's ToothFairy chapter today!
