Build relationships with community members by sponsoring an oral health educational event for a local Boy or Girl Scout Troop. As a Practice of Distinction, you are eligible to receive up to 20 free “Real Life ToothFairy” Patches for Girl Scouts or 20 “Real Life SuperHero” Patches for Boy Scouts that you can award to local Scouts for learning about oral health and dentistry. As a dental practice, you have the opportunity to take part in a national awareness-raising program called the America’s ToothFairy Smile Drive. The Smile Drive is a national campaign designed to collect oral care products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and rinse) for at-risk children and teens. The oral care products you collect can be donated to vulnerable children and teens in YOUR community. Dental practices receive recognition on our National Smile Drive Directory and receive access to a Promotional Toolkit that includes a wide array of resources to promote your participation and commitment to children’s oral health. Please consider joining this fun campaign. Our major Smile Drive effort is in February for National Children’s Dental Health Month but you can hold one anytime throughout the year. Learn more here!
