America’s ToothFairy has made a major step forward in extending vital oral health programming to children and youth in military communities!
General Jeffrey W. Talley, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command with Fern Ingber on partnership signing day
On May 25, America’s ToothFairy launched a new collaboration with the United States Army Reserve. This relationship opens the door for America’s ToothFairy to serve our nation’s Reservists and their families by providing support to Yellow Ribbon events, distributing oral health educational resources, and engaging children and youth in military communities in oral health programming.
The goal of the effort is to promote positive oral health behaviors for children and parents, as well as assist military families in understanding the significance of oral health to overall health and well-being.
This momentous occasion was celebrated at the closing reception of The Army Reserve Day at the Ft. Meyers Officers’ Club in Virginia. The reception was attended by leaders of the U.S. Army Reserve and numerous other organizations and corporations that collaborate with the Private Public Partnership Office of the U.S. Army Reserve.
For me, this opportunity to serve military communities across the country gives new meaning to our name, America’s ToothFairy. We look forward to collaborating with the U.S. Army Reserve to deliver smile-saving educational resources and programs to the children and families of our heroic military service members.
