Greater Washington DC Oral Health Zone
Established with generous funding from the DentaQuest Foundation, the Greater Washington DC Oral Health Zone (DC OHZ) is engaging community leaders, educators, and allied healthcare professionals in raising awareness of the importance of oral health through delivery of simple, effective messaging focused on prevention. This OHZ is focused on community programs and media messages that stress oral health’s inextricable link with overall health, community health, and the future success of our nation. As part of the Oral Health Matters: An Oral Health Social Marketing Campaign, PSAs are airing in both English and Spanish throughout the Washington, DC greater metro area.
DC Oral Health Zone PartnersNCOHF is collaborating with Howard University and community stakeholders to effect behavioral change in oral health through innovative educational programs in our nation’s capital.
