America’s ToothFairy® is dedicated to eliminating America’s #1 chronic childhood illness: pediatric dental disease, and ensuring all children can receive the comprehensive oral healthcare they deserve. By supporting a growing Affiliate network of community-based nonprofit health facilities with funding, product donations, and educational resources, America’s ToothFairy helps over 600,000 underserved children each year! America’s ToothFairy Affiliates are committed to providing the very best education, prevention and treatment programs for at-risk children nationwide…_because every child deserves a healthy smile_®.
The Dawson Academy has assumed a national leadership role in the America’s ToothFairy Dental Home Program™ and Tomorrow’s SMILES®, making these volunteer programs for caring private practitioners a community service centerpiece of its patient-focused mission.
America’s ToothFairy Dental Home Program™ 
America’s ToothFairy Dental Home Program mobilizes volunteer Dawson practitioners to “Adopt the Care of a Child”, contribute to the solution for access to care and break the recurring cycle of pediatric dental disease in their local community.
By adopting the care of children from vulnerable populations and giving them a Dental Home, volunteer Dawson practitioners help provide the building blocks necessary to ensure proper oral health practices and increase opportunities for success. America’s ToothFairy has developed all supporting Dental Home Program protocols and forms, and can identify eligible students through a relationship with National Association of School Nurses (NASN).

Tomorrow’s SMILES®
Tomorrow’s SMILES volunteer practitioners provide critical life changing comprehensive oral health services to our nation’s most promising underserved youth. An innovative program and the first of its kind, Tomorrow’s SMILES helps to rescue young people whose appearances reveal underlying critical oral and overall health issues, and may compromise future economic and social opportunities. In addition to restoring self-esteem and encouraging responsibility to maintain good oral health, Tomorrow’s SMILES provides the comprehensive oral health education necessary to break the cycle of disease for future generations.
As Tomorrow’s SMILES volunteers, Dawson students and alumni can donate comprehensive restorative or specialty treatment and preventive education for a deserving teen through their own practice, or in collaboration with other practitioners/specialists. The program is designed to promote oral health and well-being for promising at-risk high school students, ensuring that they are better prepared for healthy and productive futures. Eligible students are identified and pre-screened through the America’s ToothFairy relationship with National Association of School Nurses (NASN).
